By browsing the Website or placing an order, you (“you”, “customer”) agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Website under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and be able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
2. Products
- We sell artificial / fashion jewellery, including gold-plated stainless steel, alloy and resin pieces. Our products are not made of solid gold, silver or real gemstones unless clearly stated.
- We try to show colours and finishes accurately, but photos may vary slightly because of lighting and screen settings.
- Product sizes and weights are approximate. Adjustable rings fit most finger sizes.
- All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities or discontinue a product at any time.
3. Prices and payment
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Sale prices and offers (including coupon codes) are valid only for the period and conditions stated and cannot be combined unless mentioned.
- You can pay by Cash on Delivery or online (UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking and wallets) through our payment partner Razorpay. Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a technical or typing error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid in full.
4. Orders
- Your order is confirmed only when you receive an order confirmation by email/SMS.
- We may refuse or cancel an order if the product is out of stock, the delivery address is not serviceable, the details provided are incomplete or false, or we suspect fraud. Any amount paid will be refunded in full.
- You must provide a correct delivery address and a working 10-digit mobile number.
5. Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery timelines and charges are explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Cancellations, returns, replacements and refunds are handled as per our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.
6. Your account
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you notice any unauthorised use.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Website, including by placing fake orders, attempting unauthorised access, uploading harmful code, or copying our content for commercial use.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Website – including text, product photos, graphics, logos and the AVS Jewellers name – belongs to AVS Jewellers or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use it without our written consent.
9. Limitation of liability
Our products are fashion jewellery meant for personal use. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for allergic reactions where a known allergy was not disclosed to us before purchase.
10. Third-party services
Payments are handled by Razorpay and deliveries by our courier partners (via Shiprocket). Their use is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by these third parties, but we will help you resolve any issue.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date and applies to orders placed after that date.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab.
